It begins: Day 1

It's funny...because last night, when I decided that I would start keto today, Wednesday August, 23, 2017...I was PUMPED!  I was watching t.v., but was constantly pausing it to read something on a keto website or subreddit.  I cleared out my panty and fridge of carbohydrated-food (and felt happy that one of my neighbors or friends would soon be receiving a gift of free fruit, frozen pizza, tomato soups, and more).  I went to bed so excited to start losing weight the next day, and no longer having to count calories, and have some butter in my coffee, that I almost didn't sleep very well. And then I woke up. I was apprehensive.  I was nervous.  I thought, "Will this really work?"  "Is this a good idea?"  "Can I keep this lifestyle (at least for the time that I want to lose weight)?"  "SHOULD I JUST PUT ALL THOSE CARBS BACK IN MY PANTRY RIGHT NOW??!"
